Day 1 On to Delhi

You will arrive in the evening in New Delhi at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal building and transfer you to your hotel. India's capital and a major gateway to the country; contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. One of the most historic capitals in the world, Delhi is a treasure trove that reveals the ultimate combination of tradition and trends. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which have left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Day 2 Delhi

Following a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a combined sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. You will head for a guided city Tours of the Old City of 'Shahjahanabad', founded by one of the greatest Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Your introduction to the city will be with a visit to Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, arriving at the Red Fort - the magical monument in red sandstone, built at the pinnacle of the Mogul empire. From here proceed in bicycle rickshaws through the bustling streets to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia built by Shahjahan.
This afternoon, you will proceed to visit New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. The vibrant capital of Rajasthan renowned for its forts and palaces is popularly known as the 'Pink City' because of the pink-colour buildings in its old city. An ideal base for touring the royal state, the city has the distinction of being the third jewel of India's "Golden Triangle". Its main claim to fame is that it is India's first 'planned' city built by the famous 18th century astronomer King Sawai Jai Singh II.
Jaipur is not only the gateway to the state; it is also the most natural place to begin a discovery of Rajasthan's multifaceted attractions. Its beautiful buildings including the City Palace, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal and the landmark Hawa Mahal are truly worth seeing. Browsing through the markets in Jaipur, where skilled craftsmen display jewellery, paintings, carvings and colourful textiles, is an enjoyable experience for tourists. Day 4 Jaipur

This morning, after breakfast, you will proceed on a full day excursion commencing with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on drive to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar's most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moat Lake. Ruins and remains are spread over the Aravalli hills and sprawling crenulated walls lattice the surrounding area. At the foot of the hill you will board jeeps to transfer you up to the main gate. Tours the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for the excellence of its design and decoration. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway painted with the images of the elephant-headed god, Ganesh. The merging of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles is captured in the Sukh Niwas and Jas Mandir apartments, and the Charbagh garden with its perfectly proportioned landscaping. The rest of the day is free to explore the numerous ancient temples in this little picturesque lakeside village, the most famous and unique being the Brahma Temple (only temple in world of Lord Brahma). Day 6 Pushkar - Bikaner

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Bikaner enroute visit Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke, the only temple in India where religious offerings are made to hordes of 

rats who roam freely within the inner sanctum. On arrival Bikaner check into hotel. Later travel to the historical symbol of the city, the magnificent Junagarh fort. Day 7 Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Jaisalmer enroute visit Gajner Palace (Gajner is an incomparable Jewel in the Thar. Built by the great Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner on the embankment of a lake with a generous dose of flora and fauna. It is built by red sand stone & is indeed a fine example of the great Rajasthani architecture. The Gajner Palace is spread over 6000 acres, the palace is a 30-minute drive from Bikaner. Gajner Palace was used as a hunting resort by the maharaja and the family shared their passion with their exclusive guests and hosted exotic holidays for them.

Around the palace is a thick forestation that attracts the guests to take up a simple walk around admiring the migratory birds in winters like imperial sand goose, antelopes, black bucks and the animal species that wander around in the form of Nilgais, chinkaras, deers etc. The hotel is spread in a large area, and the ambiance around is as raw and authentic as it was before). Day 9 Jaisalmer – Bhikamkorfort, Osian - Jodhpur

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Jodhpur capital of Marwar, sprawled around the impressive cliff top Meherangarh Fort en route visit Osian, the ancient town of Thar desert, an archaeologists delight, surrounded by golden sand dunes, it has sixteen Brahamanical and Jain temples, beautifully sculpted and designed. Day 16 Fort Madhogarh – Agra

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to Agra en route visiting Akbar's abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1571 in honour of the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti, it was the Mughal capital for 14 years after which it was abandoned due to paucity of water. It is made of red sandstone and combines influences from both Hindu and Mughal architecture. Even to this day, the entrance to the fort is through the road that Akbar built which leads to the Buland Darwaza, a huge 54 metres gateway. Other inspiring monuments in Fatehpur Sikri are the Hiran Minar that Akbar built in memory of his favourite elephant, Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, Birbal's House and the Diwan-i-Khas. On arrival in Agra, you will check into your hotel.
The city of Agra, the quintessence of the grand Mughal era, reigns to this day in the public mind as the embodiment of royal grace, imposing architecture and power. Agra is globally renowned as the city of the Taj Mahal. But this royal Mughal city has, in addition to the legendary Taj, many monuments that epitomize the high point of Mughal architecture. No Tours to India can be complete without paying a visit to this erstwhile capital of the Mughals and the city of the Taj Mahal, the world's most beloved monument. With its laidback lifestyle and its immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery, Agra is amongst the most remarkable city of the world.

Referred to as one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. There are tombs of Mumtaz and Shahjahan within the mausoleum. Done in white marble, it took 22 years and over 20,000 workers and craftsmen to complete this rhapsody in stone (1630-52 AD). The main structure is set amidst landscaped gardens. Day 17 Agra Fort & Palaces (Taj Mahal) – Delhi Heritage – Goa Heritage

The sandstone and marble tomb of Akbar, the greatest of the Mughal emperors, is situated in the middle of a peaceful garden. Akbar started its construction himself, blending Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Christian motifs and styles. The tomb is a splendid example of the combination of Hindu and Muslim architecture and represents Akbar's philosophy and secular outlook. On arrival

Day 20 Goa Heritage – Mumbai Heritage

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will drop at Goa airport for catch flight to Mumbai. On arrival Mumbai check into hotel. Later travel to Mumbai local sight seeing visit Gate way of India (Mumbai's principal landmark, the Gateway of India is a huge archway on the ocean’s edge at Apollo Bunder. It is the starting point for most tourists who want to explore the city. This famous monument was built to commemorate the visit of the first ever British Monarch, King George V and Queen Mary in 1911.
The foundation stone was laid down by the then Governor of Bombay (Mumbai) on March 31st 1913. The archway is 26 meters high and joined with four turrets and intricate lattice work carved on stones. The arch alone was built at the cost of Rs 21 lakhs. It was built in Indo-Sarcenic style, though some influence of Gujarati style is also evident in its architecture. This majestic structure was designed by the Scottish architect George Wittet and is a hybrid of the Arc de Triomphe of Paris.), Holy Haji Ali Dargah (Haji Ali Mosque was built to honour a Muslim merchant and it stands almost 600 yards out at the sea. The spot can be approached by a long causeway which gets submerged during high tides. The tomb was named after Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, who gave up his whole wealth after visiting Mecca. The tomb dates back to 15th century but the dazzling white mosque was built in the year 1940. The devotees usually touch their heads at the heavily embroidered chador (ceremonial cloth) inside the tomb.), Siddhi Vinayak temple, Juhu beach, Juhu Choupatty, hanging garden (Also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, the Hanging Gardens were built in 1880 and renovated in 1921. These gardens are popularly known as Hanging Gardens, because of their location on the slope of a hill. The terrace garden looks south from Malabar Hill towards Colaba, and affords a panoramic view of the city with a beautiful sunset. It is built over three reservoirs, which store 30 million gallons of water pumped here for cleaning before being supplied to the town.), On top of the Malabar hills are the Hanging Gardens and Kamala Nehru Park.
