Day 1 On to Delhi Fort & Palaces

You will arrive in the evening in New Delhi at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal building and transfer you to your hotel. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Day 2 Delhi Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a combined sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. You will head for a guided city Tours of the Old City of 'Shahjahanabad', founded by one of the greatest Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Your introduction to the city will be with a visit to Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, arriving at the Red Fort - the magical monument in red sandstone, built at the pinnacle of the Mogul empire. From here proceed in bicycle rickshaws through the bustling streets to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia built by Shahjahan.
This afternoon, you will proceed to visit New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. The Tours to Imperial Delhi will include a visit to the Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower in India built to establish the might of Islam and onset of Muslim rule in India and Humayun's tomb, the first great example of a new distinctive style, which developed to become the hallmark of the Mughal Dynasty. Day 3 Delhi Fort & Palaces – Jaipur Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to Jaipur. On arrival you will check into your hotel. The vibrant capital of Rajasthan renowned for its forts and palaces is popularly known as the 'Pink City' because of the pink-colour buildings in its old city. An ideal base for touring the royal state, the city has the distinction of being the third jewel of India's "Golden Triangle". Its main claim to fame is that it is India's first 'planned' city built by the famous 18th century astronomer King Sawai Jai Singh II.
Jaipur is not only the gateway to the state; it is also the most natural place to begin a discovery of Rajasthan's multifaceted attractions. Its beautiful buildings including the City Palace, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal and the landmark Hawa Mahal are truly worth seeing. Browsing through the markets in Jaipur, where skilled craftsmen display jewellery, paintings, carvings and colourful textiles, is an enjoyable experience for tourists. Day 4 Jaipur Fort & Palaces - Castle Kalwar Fort & Palaces

This morning, after breakfast, you will proceed on a full day excursion commencing with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on drive to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar's most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moat Lake. Ruins and remains are spread over the Aravalli hills and sprawling crenulated walls lattice the surrounding area. At the foot of the hill you will board jeeps to transfer you up to the main gate. Tours the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for the excellence of its design and decoration. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway painted with the images of the elephant-headed god, Ganesh. The merging of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles is captured in the Sukh Niwas and Jas Mandir apartments, and the Charbagh garden with its perfectly proportioned landscaping. Pierced screen windows offer views from different vantage points and shimmering mirrors encrust the walls of Sheesh Mahal.

Later a photo stop at the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, Founded by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh Jaipur.
Following your visit to Amber, enjoy a Tours of the Pink City, an "abode of rajahs". Day 5 Castle Kalwar Fort & Palaces – Pushkar Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Pushkar the famous pilgrimage village in India. En route stop in the holy pilgrim city of Ajmer and visit the Dargah of Khawaja Mu’inuddin Chisti. On arrival in Pushkar, you will be check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the numerous ancient temples in this little picturesque lakeside village, the most famous and unique being the Brahma Temple (only temple in world of Lord Brahma). Over night stay at Pushkar hotel. 

Day 6 Pushkar Fort & Palaces – Bikaner Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Bikaner enroute visit Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke, the only temple in India where religious offerings are made to hordes of 

rats who roam freely within the inner sanctum. On arrival Bikaner check into hotel. Later travel to the historical symbol of the city, the magnificent Junagarh fort. Built of red sandstone, the fort boasts of some of the finest sandstone and marble carvings. Admire the skill of the craftsmen as you visit palaces and the halls of audience. Day 7 Bikaner Fort & Palaces – Jaisalmer Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Jaisalmer enroute visit Gajner Palace (Gajner is an incomparable Jewel in the Thar. Built by the great Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner on the embankment of a lake with a generous dose of flora and fauna. It is built by red sand stone & is indeed a fine example of the great Rajasthani architecture. The Gajner Palace is spread over 6000 acres, the palace is a 30-minute drive from Bikaner. Gajner Palace was used as a hunting resort by the maharaja and the family shared their passion with their exclusive guests and hosted exotic holidays for them.

Around the palace is a thick forestation that attracts the guests to take up a simple walk around admiring the migratory birds in winters like imperial sand goose, antelopes, black bucks and the animal species that wander around in the form of Nilgais, chinkaras, deers etc. The hotel is spread in a large area, and the ambiance around is as raw and authentic as it was before).

Day 8 Jaisalmer Fort & Palaces

Visit the palaces, ludrava Jain temples and magnificent Havelis like Patwo ki haveli, Garhisar lake, Nathumal ji ki haveli, Salim Singh ki haveli. Also visit the golden Fort - built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, the Jaisalmer Fort is the second oldest fort of Rajasthan after Chittor. One fourth of the population lives inside the Fort. Day 9 Jaisalmer Fort & Palaces – Fort Pokaran – Bhikamkor fort, Osian – Jodhpur Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, travel to Jodhpur capital of Marwar, sprawled around the impressive cliff top Meherangarh Fort en route visit Fort Pokaran Palace (The 14th century citadel also known as “Balagarh” stands as a paragon amidst the Thar Desert. Surrounded with rocky, sandy and five salt ranges, POKARAN means “the place of five mirages”. Fort Pokaran stands on ancient trade route that carried salt, silk and spices to Persia and beyond. Instead of winding caravans of the past, it now has trains, buses and cars. The fort now attracts travellers to stay betwixt the glorious history where each stone speaks out volumes of the past. Pokaran sight seeing venues are skillfully engraved family cenotaphs. A walk through the old bazaar where the potters make the famous terracotta pottery which floods the Delhi markets and weavers weave shawls, blankets and durries (carpets). Pokaran is the abode of hundreds of Damsel Cranes, Houbara Bustard, a rare bird; The Great Indian Bustard, Migratory Bird the Imperial Sand Grouse which takes flight right from Siberia to the desert for food, water and to sun bathe. It is a buzz to watch and photograph the Indian Gazelle; the “Chinkara” (deer) that is the highlight of the jeep safari in dried salt ranges of Pokaran. The place also homes the shrine of the deity Ramdeoji who is considered the reincarnation of Lord Krishna. The fair Ramdeora is named after him, held for ten days according to the lunar calendar in the month of September is a vibrant occasion. People visit it from all religions, caste and creed from all over India who come in colourful outfits to offer prayers.)

Later en route visit Osian, the ancient town of Thar desert, an archaeologists delight, surrounded by golden sand dunes, it has sixteen Brahamanical and Jain temples, beautifully sculpted and designed. Most of them withstood the ravages of time. Sachchiya Mata & Mahaveer Jain temples are the largest among the surviving temples. Continue travel to Jodhpur. Day 11 Fort Madhogarh – Agra Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to Agra en route visiting Akbar's abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1571 in honour of the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti, it was the Mughal capital for 14 years after which it was abandoned due to paucity of water. It is made of red sandstone and combines influences from both Hindu and Mughal architecture. Even to this day, the entrance to the fort is through the road that Akbar built which leads to the Buland Darwaza, a huge 54 metres gateway. Other inspiring monuments in Fatehpur Sikri are the Hiran Minar that Akbar built in memory of his favourite elephant, Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, Birbal's House and the Diwan-i-Khas. On arrival in Agra, you will check into your hotel.
The city of Agra, the quintessence of the grand Mughal era, reigns to this day in the public mind as the embodiment of royal grace, imposing architecture and power. Agra is globally renowned as the city of the Taj Mahal. But this royal Mughal city has, in addition to the legendary Taj, many monuments that epitomize the high point of Mughal architecture. No Tours to India can be complete without paying a visit to this erstwhile capital of the Mughals and the city of the Taj Mahal, the world's most beloved monument. With its laidback lifestyle and its immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery, Agra is amongst the most remarkable city of the world.
Later, enjoy a guided Tours of Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. The present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the walls and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Shah Jehan added the impressive quarters and the mosque while Aurangzeb added the outer ramparts. Visit its Hall of Public Audience and its Royal Pavilions.
Continue travel to one of the seven wonder Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). Enjoy an exciting rickshaw ride to the gates of the majestic Taj.
Referred to as one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. There are tombs of Mumtaz and Shahjahan within the mausoleum. Done in white marble, it took 22 years and over 20,000 workers and craftsmen to complete this rhapsody in stone (1630-52 AD). The main structure is set amidst landscaped gardens. While on three sides it is surrounded by high walls, the rear is bound by the river Yamuna. Over night stay at Agra hotel.

Day 12 Agra Fort & Palaces – Gwalior Fort & Palaces – Jhansi Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to Jhansi en route visit Gwalior Fort & Palaces. Continue travel to Jhansi Fort & Palace. On arrival Jhansi check into hotel. Later visit Jhansi fort, the fort of Maharani Jhansi has strategic importance since the earliest times. It was built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo (1606-27) of Orchha on a rocky hill called Bangra in the town Balwantnagar. The fort has ten gates. The Jhansi fort, a living testimony of ancient glamour and valour, also has a fine collection of sculpture which provide an excellent inside into the eventful history of Bundelkhand, Ranimahal museum, palace of Rani Lakshmi Bai embellished with multi colored art and painting on its walls and ceilings. It has massive collection sculptures of the period between the 9th and 12th centuries AD, U. P. museum, the glorious temple of Maha Lakshmi, Maharaja Gangadhar Rao ki Chhatri (cenotaphs). Day 13 Jhansi Fort & Palaces – Orcha Fort & Palaces – Khajuraho Fort & Palaces

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to Khajuraho en route visit Orcha, one of the ancient city situated on the bank of Betwa. This place is famous for Raja Ram temple, the Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Rai Parveen Mahal, Lakshmi Narayan temple, Chaturbhuj temple.

Continue travel to Khajuraho. On arrival Khajuraho check into hotel. Khajuraho temples are a rare gift to the world. These temple were erected in a span of 100 years from 950 AD to 1050AD these temples were constructed under Chandel Rajput. Later visit the  Kandariya Mahadev temple is one of the most beautiful temple. Its 116 feet high having largest number of sculpctures of alluring beauty. The other historical temples are the Chausath Yogini temple, Matangeshwar temple, Varaha temple, Vamana temple, Adinath temple, Chaturbhuj and Duladeo temples. Over night stay at Khajuraho hotel. 

Day 14 Khajuraho Fort & Palaces – Panna wildlife Sanctuary – Allahabad Fort & Palaces
